At a gala event on 15 September 2018, held to mark 15 years since the opening of Spotlight Theatrical Company's main theatre, the building was formally renamed The Halpin Auditorium, in recognition of the outstanding service and achievements of long-standing members and supporters Clem and Shelly Halpin.
